POP CULTURE LEAGUE: DO OVERS

This is my second post for today, the other can be found here and is about the 80s promotion featuring the Muppet Babies where McDonalds offered plush figures during the holidays! This is also my first post (except for the brief one on Monday) of non scheduled posts in a week or so! I hope to go twice daily starting this weekend until Christmas!

Its extremely late (for me) but with the snow and me getting sick (again) I didn't have the time to type this until now. It is time for Cool and Collected's Pop Culture League Challenge again!

What's this week's challenge?

“Do over.”

If you could do it all over again…
I could mention a lot of stuff here, but this is a toy blog so I'm sticking with toys. When I moved out of my dads house, I took all of my toys and comics with me. Eventually I moved in with my sister and after a misunderstanding, she threw me out and kept my toys.  She gave them to her children and they are long gone now 😞😢 This upsets me so much because this was 2001 and I had stuff from the 80s still and stuff that reminded me of my mom then, the last of the stuff mom gave me were gone that day. To this day I wish I had let dad hold onto them when I moved in with my sister like he'd suggested and I Would have if I could do it all over.

I still miss my Thundercats (one of the few lines that I had as a kid that I still have nothing from in my current collection, unless you count the 2011 line or POPs;) As well as my Falcon, Jinx and Sgt. Slaughters from G.I.JOE!

See how my fellow league members answered this question, maybe there's are more happy?

Also, for those who are interested, back in September I wrote in a response to a Pop Culture League post about wanting a wax Eryops figure. Some people were interested in what it was. On my other blog, I posted a couple pages from a great book called the "Encyclopedia of dinosaurs and prehistoric life" by Miles Kelly, as well as a quick review. The pages were the eryops entry and thought I would mention it for those interested. You can check it out here!

  2. Wow, very sad! The memories of mom and conflict with sister take losing one's childhood toys to a new level of loss...so sorry Alexis!
