#100. THANK YOU! PLUS A LOOK AT A CINDERELLA COLORFORMS SET!

THIS IS MY 100'TH POST WITH CONTENT! 😻
THIS SHOCKS ME AS I HAVE ONLY BEEN AT THIS FOR A LITTLE OVER 3 MONTHS BUT YEAH THIS IS #100! I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR COMING TO MY BLOG BECAUSE WITHOUT YOU (OR EVEN THE POP CULTURE LEAGUE) I WOULD NOT EVEN HAVE A BLOG. THANK YOU!

With this being #100, I wanted to do something special, so here we go.... 3 posts in one! 2 are "classics!"

First up is my very first toy review. This is from February 10, 2015 and is from my very first toy blog (which lasted only a few posts). I since took down the name and just called it blog after closing it, but take a look at my first Review! Below is a pic of what the review was about!

Next up is my very first review from my YouTube channel. It is pretty bad and is from March 2016! My videos got much better lol!

Now it makes no sense to repost my first post from this blog here (For those who want to see it and not hunt it down here is the very first content post: Little Mermaid Colorforms book! The "coming soon" post was deleted long ago.)

That now finally brings us to the new content for this post :) COLORFORMS! It made sense to me as the first content post on this blog was Colorforms, might as well have #100 be one to (Plan to have #101 as one to). So since finding the Little Mermaid book, I have bought 3 other sets of vintage Colorforms. Today I will be looking at one from what looks like is from the 70's: Cinderella. Soon, I will look at the other 2.

So, many months after finding The Little Mermaid Colorforms book, I went to the other Goodwill with Cassie. I never found anymore so imagine my shock when Cassie noticed this set!
What was even more shocking was that they had 4 and a Barbie Colorform like set and some Colorform games! I only picked up two that day, and the one I will review in post #101! The other two were Barney and I left them. I went back another time and eventually did get one of the Barney sets (the only one left.)
So these were great when I was a kid! They had so many licenses so you could actually mix and match them! The box art was nice, but....
As you can see, the bottom/back was plain.
The box saw better days but for a set from supposedly the 70s (from a net search as there are no copy write dates on this set which is odd as many others had them somewhere.)
The Cinderella "Stage" is in pretty decent shape.
As you can see it is basically glossy cardboard on one side!
Also it looks as if all the stickers were still there and there was no serious paint wear.
Included were 3 versions of Cinderella to "Recreate" her transformation scene!
Of course they also included the fairy godmother and
The pumpkin, magic effects, a bird, the horse drawn carriage, a mop, and two versions of the mice!
I know its pretty basic, but I really loved these as a kid and was so happy to find so many more.
 Now let's have fun....
Fairy: Hello Cinderella I am here to send you to the ball, I am your fairy godmother!
Cinderella: How did you get in here? Police! A fairy? Yeah right! Whatever drugs your on, have your                    trip elsewhere!
Mice: We got her shoes.
 Fairy: Bippity Boppity Boo!
Cinderella: What the *Beep*!
Mice: Yay!
Cinderella: Sorry for saying that you were....
Fairy: Never mind that deary, Have fun! *Whispers* Hope you like being embarrassed because I                   neglected to mention that at midnight you return to normal. *he he* Maybe next time you will
           not bad mouth fairies!
Obviously that is not how the story went, but that was what was s great about Colorforms, like regular toys, you were only limited by your own imagination!
That's it for #100!
To continue, the celebration, let us begin the next 100 posts with another colorforms adventure as we go to a woods in search for some hunny! See you at 8PM!

On a side note, this was planned for tomorrow (as was 101) , but I decided to get all of the non holiday/winter posts done by December, so expect 2 more posts tomorrow!😲

    1. Even though she has minimal articulation, I actually prefer this version (face wise) over her other figure that was double this one!

    1. LOL! I rarely come across them as well. I just got lucky that one day, as I said before that I had only come across a Little Mermaid Colroforms book and that was months before. Now it is months after finding these and again nothing :(
I hear they are rare and I believe that! I have thought about getting some of the "new" Colorforms sets out there though.
