Who's ready for old photos from newspapers? I really need to come up with a cool name for this feature since its been a fixture for my blog for years! 1959 10-31-1934 10-31-1974 10-31-1965 10-31-1975

Well here it is! Can you believe it? post #800! When I started this blog over 8 years ago, I had no idea that I would stick around for this long. Sure I have taken long breaks here and then but i'm still here blogging! The very first post ever was a colorforms book featuring the Little Mermaid, so here's a quickie of the TMNT rerelease set I just recently got! Next up are two stables to the countdown, yep the last 2 annual posts for the countdown are in this post! For those who don't know, every year I do 3 posts during the countdown annually: Skeletor update (posted earlier this month), frog shelf, and my Ghost busters shelf, those last 2 are shown below! POP CULTURE LEAGUE HALLOWEEN!

It is once again Monday and you know what that means right? It is time for Cool and Collected's Pop Culture League Challenge! So what is this week's challenge? "Here comes Halloween! It’s the most wonderful time of the year." Anyone who knows me knows that Halloween is my favorite holiday! Why I am not 100% sure. It may be the fact that it is a great time to escape reality. It could be the memories from being a kid. For me, I think it is because I have always loved the spooky aspect of it. One of my favorite parts is decorating fro Halloween. This year I was a little controlled on decorating but that is because of my toy displays. I say this because (unfortunately I do not have pictures) but last year the collection room had less shelves and was a grave yard, but as my collection grew, that went away lol.
