Atari E.T. Ad!

 While hunting through the internet newspaper archives to replace stuff lost for this blog, I came across this ad:

 Normally I'd throw it in a post with other ads but this is an ad for the infamous E.T. Atari game. So why is it infamous? It was so bad that it was a contributing factor to the video game crash that almost ended the industry. Yes E.T. almost killed video games! Their was a legend (which is partly true) that Atari buried the unsold games in a dump. Unlike the urban legend only 10% found were ET and it was a dumping ground for Atari's Texas unsold stock.
