Quite few years back when I lived in San Francisco (I left SF in 2013) I went into Walgreens to look at what they had for Halloween. This was back when Walgreens had great cheap Halloween decorations. I was shocked at what I found. Universal Monsters Danglers. They had 4 and I got all 4. They are officially licensed and are from Imperial! One that surprised me was that there seemed to be no Wolf Man!
Because they are danglers they are squishy and I know that they have bead like stuff in them because Creature sadly is leaking lol.

Creature From the Black Lagoon
Count Dracula
Frankenstein's Monster
The Mummy
So I mentioned the Wolf Man, turns out that he and the Bride of Frankenstein WERE made but unfortunately it seems as though they were only available overseas. Turns Out that they WERE released here in the States though not sure how widely or if my source was wrong (which is always possible). One day I will have to track them down if they are affordable enough (Wolf Man is my second favorite Universal monster, the first is the Creature from the Black Lagoon!)
That is it for now but be here tomorrow as we continue to countdown until Halloween!
Wait I have a set of these from Walgreens and I do have the wolfman and the bride of Frankenstein and I didn't buy them when I was out of the country so I'm slightly confused . The versions you have are the "life-like stretchable" right?
ReplyDeleteHmmm I guess they WERE released here in the States and the info I found online was wrong. hmmm
DeleteThose look like fun. Squishy fun!
