ROUND ROBIN: TWO CHALLENGES

I'm back with this week's Round Robin Challen---- WAIT A MINUTE! So there seems to have been confusion as to who's turn it was this week and as such there are actually TWO challenges going on this week! I have decided to go ahead and do both, if for some reason either one is next week as well, I will just do a different answer.

First up I will do the one from Mr. Smith,

"Round Robin Challenge:My Heroic Origin

If you were a hero, super or otherwise, what would be your origin and your powers? More than a good rogues gallery, every hero needs a compelling backstory"

This one is a little difficult and because I am actually hoping to self publish comics in the next few years, I need to be careful so that I do not reveal anything from them lol. I think my powers would be from space somehow, maybe a meteorite. My powers would have to be something like Jean Grey's as I like the idea of having psychic powers to be honest as you can become pretty powerful, that or Shape-Shifting like Mystique.

Next up is the one from Green Plastic Squirt Gun!
"Piece de la resistance"
Although I am extremely proud of my various figures from the vintage area or my MEGABLOKS from Monster High or TMNT, I would have to say that it is these guys:
I only owned 3 of the dinosaurs from the "Dino-Riders" line as a kid and all but the protoceratops (the dino next to the raptor looking dino) were them. I now own all 3 of the dinos that I had as a kid as well as one I didn't. Now just need to get the figures from the line that I had and I had a lot lol. I am proud of this accomplishment and ironically it was due to Brother Midnight (creator of this challenge) and Goodwill!
Last up would have to be this monster. This is not the 6 inch scale one, but the 3 3/4 one! I rarely can afford big things like this so whenever I do, they held at high regard by me.

Kara would be on the list, but she is my kid or pet depending on how you look at it and unlike the law, I refuse to think of a living being as property and as far as I am concerned she is my roommate lol.

Well there are my thoughts on these challenges.

Here is what my fellow bloggers came up with for Brother Midnight's challenge:

And here are the takes on Mr. Smith's challenge:

Thus far, only takes on Brother Midnight's challenge are up, but if anyone chimes in on Mr. Smith's I'll add in links!

Also over on my other blog, Alexis' World, I share some pictures from when the turtles were at Disney World!

  1. Let me know if you need any writers for those comics. I have four or five stories that could run long term that I've penned.

    1. I will, if I do, but self publishing is easy so you could publish your own if you want.

  2. I remember the original Kenner one and the small panels they used for years at hasbro- I had the upgraded version, but it got lost to the great star wars purge before I even opened it

    1. The humanoids/ humans are the same size or very close to it of the M.A.S.K. figures so yeah I bet they would look good to one another. I don't have any humanoids/humans for dino-riders to check but my mask guys do look good with the dinos (scale wise)

  4. Its great when the thing that you hold as the most valuable is something that has more meaning then cost.

    1. I agree. I don't have a vintage mosquitor or snout spout but hope to get them someday because my sister actually bought me those when I was a kid. There are others I want due to sentimental reasons. But yeah Dino-Riders, though I had few, was the most important line to me as a kid (with MOTU, GIJOE, and m.a.s.k.)! Also the few she-ra's that I had i need to find due to how i associate them with my mother.

  5. Best of luck on your comics.

Nice TIE Fighter. Didn't realize they made a 3-3/4" one that big. Of course, it's been years since I've taken a SW vehicle out of the box.
